
Some things age gracefully, some don’t

This campaign targeted CEOs and senior leaders, highlighting why outdated technology stacks hold businesses back. The design concept centered on the concept that some things age gracefully, like fine whisky, good music, your favourite leather jacket, but an aging technology stack does not.
The visuals combined nostalgic imagery with bold messaging to make the point clear and memorable. Supported by expert interviews and social content, the campaign turned a complex and what could be quite boring technical story into an easy to get narrative.
Challenge
Developers and engineers already knew about React Native but the problem we encountered was the CEO’s and leadership didn’t see the importance. It was just another developer language. The challenge for this project was really creating a way that anyone could feel the content was related to them. To uncomplicated it and make it relatable.
Approach
My approach for the visuals was nostalgic. Brining in vintage computers, retro wallpaper and aging images. A campaign that wasn’t another B-roll video on linkedin but one you would remember longterm.
